Holy Family Medical Center

Long-Term Acute Care Services

Founded in 1961, Holy Family Medical Center continues its commitment to healing as one of the area's only long-term acute care hospitals dedicated to providing advanced and specialized care for medically-complex patients.

As a specialty hospital, we serve patients who need hospitalization on average for about 25 days and in some cases even longer. We offer comprehensive care for patients with acute illnesses or serious injuries such as cardiopulmonary conditions, severe wounds, kidney diseases or neurological disorders such as head or spinal injuries or stroke.

Our interdisciplinary team of experts uses a wide range of specialized services and advanced technology to promote optimal recovery. Because we are focused on long-term hospitalization, we are able to provide personalized attention in a close partnership with patients and their families. We understand the importance of treating every patient, not just as someone with a medical condition, but as a whole person with emotional, spiritual and social needs.

Holy Family Medical Center differs from other long-stay hospitals by offering a wide array of outpatient services. This means that patients can receive most tests and procedures on-site without having to be transported elsewhere.
